Minimizing the Risk of Ghosting By Potential Employers

How to minimize the risk from being ghosted by companies?

(This is applicable if you are applying directly to companies.)

Being ghosted sucks after so much hope is placed during an initial interview. Today, I want to provide a few tips on how to minimize the risk by asking a few key questions.

Yes, you must ask questions.

1) How long has this role been vacant? Is this a new role?
2) When does this role needs to be filled?
3) What’s the next step after this?
4) I understand you will be flooded with candidate assessment. Will I hear from you if I am selected to the next stage? What if I’m not successful? How long would that be?

All these are to manage expectations of your timeline.

Will these help?
