21st Century Skills – Are We There Yet?

All of my mentees came from the age group of Millennials. When they want for some new recipes to some food, or looking for the best place for their glamping, they seek out opinions from friends through WeChat, Facebook and the like. My daughter is one of this Millennials, my two granddaughters are, well, here this.. they are called Gen Alpha (born between 2013-2025).

My youngest grandaughter, Kaleesya learns how to slide the smartphone searching for their favourite Baby Shark song, or any other cartoon channels. She learns this by observing her sister, Katrina, aged 2.5 years old. Mind you, Kaleesya is 8 months old.

And I was in the city the other when I walked past a small notary office. What caught my eyes were the typewriter and an analog phone.

Yeah. I know.

There is at least 4 generational gaps between the two young ladies and their grandmother, and I really have to catch up.
